The music industry is a difficult business. It's aggressive, it's competitive and sometimes traps you in a worm hole, where all creativity & inspiration and hope may get lost when discouraged. This is where Strength in Numbers and Networking matters. Music sells everything except music these days. It's important we're organic network builders, a connector and supporter - to find creative ways for more promotional leverage for artists. We're all trying to find non-traditional ways to reach new target markets. This goes for all brands and artists.

A brand could be anything though, an "artist/band" is a "brand". A big corporate "brand" have creatives behind the scenes that are passionate and work hard to let the public know that this brand that they work for has a message, whether that be Yamaha, Akai Pro, Denon DJ, Beatport, FluxFM – all brands have artists or passionate people behind the name.
In a time where the conventional method doesn't matter anymore, how do we do it as a corporate brand and how does an artist push the boundaries, beyond the help of their labels?
