MARKETING BRAND MANAGER, A&R, ARTIST MANAGEMENT

Music saved me and provided a safe environment for my anxious mind. I’ve dedicated my career in helping emerging artists connect the dots along their journey to success. I am just one of the many people and relationships they will encounter during their lifetime. With my 18 years of experience working in various fields/genres in the music industry—I’m passionate, honest and confident about helping artists discover unique ways in their marketing, promotion and brand endorsement approach, while reaching personal goals in building their band/brand.

An artist is a brand. A brand needs an audience. An audience needs to like or be entertained with their new discovery and purchase. A brand, just like on Amazon, is similar to a band. You will get a review and find new audience. A brand needs funding, support and discovery. An artist needs to understand that they’re like a start-up—you’re going to succeed, fail, keep steady or grow. I approach things like a dolphin—hover around the sharks and lead you in a good direction.

Currently, I'm a Brand Manager for M-Audio and VIP Music Software. I help artists connect with brands and help brands connect with artists and also help connect consumer brands with music technology programs and schools. I help both brands work out feasible barter deals with each unique and customized collaborations as I build successful co-marketing initiatives — which results in a healthy, long lasting relationship with both parties.

Notable work/contribution: Red Bull Music Academy, Fugue Mag, V Mag, Soma Mag, Women Supreme Model Management, Copenhagen Fashion Week, Tigi Linea, Bed Head, Toni & Guy, Davines, Comfort Zone, Ecru NY, Kill Rock Stars/5rc, Deerhoof, Raveonettes, Neko Case, Decemberists, Two Ton Boa, Gossip, Xiu Xiu, Weezer, The Strokes, The Vines, Javelin, Hess Is More, Neil Davidge (Massive Attack/Halo 4), M-Audio, AIR Music Tech, Akai Professional, Sonivox, Ubisoft, Lucas Arts, EA, SXSW and more.

I love music, and I've been working in or around it before the dependency of todays Internet. My 18 years of experience geared me towards my niche in honest/successful/smart strategies for both artists and consumer brands.

As a marketing professional, my art is honesty through language and conversation. I believe artists do great things and make change in this crazy world today. There's truth in expression and a story to tell through music. My job is to focus on the mundane business & marketing side so that an artist can maximize their time on their craft.
